Aylesbury and Chilterns

Lovely pictures of scenery and villages in the Chilterns

Wendover - a pretty little market town

An unusually small, plain church at Dunsmore

A walk through Chequers Estate

Ellesborough Church - an impressive sight!

Butlers Cross - worth the trek up Coombe Hill. Great views from the top as it is the highest point in the Chilterns

A delightful view over Weston Turville Reservoir

Part of the stunning The Ridgeway National Trail

The monument in Ashridge Estate (National Trust) - a great stop for some lunch or an ice cream.

The whole area is full of quaint houses - here are a few at Aldbury

It is a great area for walkers and sightseers.

Bourton on the Water

Bourton On the Water

Try a day out to Bourton-in-the-Water. A delightful little village in the Cotswold's to spend a day walking along the river Windrush, browsing in the gift shops, having a cream tea in on of the quaint cafes, seeing penguins in Birdland, visiting the Motoring Museum or the 80 Year Old Model Village.

From now on - these photographs are the miniature houses in the model village some built in 1937 :-
